Since i haven't updated in a LONG time, most of you don't know that i get to go to America next week! I know America is a whole continent and all that, but around here people usually say America instead of US.

I absolutely CAN'T WAIT! I've always wanted to see America, and i never thought i'd get the chance to do it so soon. Mainly because it's damn expensive, and secondly because visas aren't that easy to get. But the embassy people were kind enough to give me a 5 year visa! (whooo!) I won't get to see any of the friends i've made there on the internet because this is one of those pre-planned excursions, with an mostly set itinerary. I get to see Washington DC, NY, Niagara Falls, Las Vegas & The Grand Canyon and LA! :D

I know most of you live in the US and i have a few questions. What are the most interesting places to see in the above mentioned locations. I'm looking for places off the beaten track, something that will let me see more of the people and culture there. What are good places to eat? Where are the best places to shop (that aren't very expensive)? Do you have any other suggestions on things to do/not do while i'm there?
